¼ cup olive oil
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tbs fresh thyme
2 tsp grated parmigiana
¼ cup chopped walnuts
2 tsp sherry wine vinegar
salt and pepper
1.5 lbs asparagus, trimmed
In small bowl add oil, garlic, thyme, walnuts, and vinegar. Whisk to combine. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
Preheat grill or grill pan over medium heat.
Place asparagus on rimmed baking sheet and coat with half of the glaze. season generously with salt and pepper
Using tongs, transfer asparagus to grill, placing them perpendicular to the grates. Grill asparagus, turning frequently until evenly charred and tender, about 4 to 5 minutes.
Transfer asparagus to serving dish and add reserved glaze and cheese.
